As we are now in the throes of Holiday ☀️ Season and many of you are leaving for sunny 😎 climates, we just wanted to remind you all about sending AskMyGP requests whilst you are abroad.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer medical advice or prescribe medication 💊 whilst you are out of the country.
If you need medical help whilst overseas:
🔷 Visit a local pharmacy or medical centre
🔷 Use your EHIC or GHIC card for emergency care in Europe
If you need help about your medication list, you can find it on the NHS App. However, if you’re having trouble accessing it please contact us at the Practice.
💡 Tip: Make sure you apply for an EHIC or GHIC card before you go. This lets you get necessary state healthcare in a European economic area and some other counties on the same basis as a resident of the country you are holidaying in.
