COVID-19 Vaccination and Pregnancy

COVID-19 infection in pregnancy carries a significant risk of hospital admission and a higher risk of severe illness than for the non-pregnant population; especially so in the third trimester.

Women can receive COVID vaccination at any point in pregnancy, but are encouraged to do so as early as possible, to ensure maximum protection.

The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) and the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) recommend vaccination as one of the best defences against severe infection.   Please see the information in the guide below and contact us to book your Covid vaccination  or to ask any more questions.
