AskMyGP

The easiest and fastest way to get any kind of help is with askmyGP. It saves us time too, so please help us to help you.

Available 24/7 – we respond in working hours, 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday excluding Wednesday half days. We can usually see you same day if needed. All our registered patients are welcome, parents and carers on behalf of patients too. You can name a GP if you wish (so long as they are working today) You may prefer a message, telephone, video or face to face response You can sign up now, with no paperwork.

Please note:

As we are a training practice, some of our GPs have to record consultations as part of training and assessment

The consultations are recorded via a secure portal called fourteen fish, and may form part of assessments by trained Royal Collage of General Practitioner examiners, as well as part of in house teaching between the GP and supervisor (GPs supervisors are Dr Jayne Davies and Dr Liam Hosie).

We will ask consent before any consultation is recorded. If the consultation is recorded, you will receive a call that comes from a mobile number, the recorded messages takes you through the consent process (the number will appear as a mobile number on your phone, not as the usual withheld surgery number). You will be given the option at the end of the consultation to say that you are happy for the consultation to be saved. If you choose not to have a consultation recorded, it will not affect your care in any way at all.
