As a surgery we have continued to provide face to face appointments when required all throughout the pandemic. This is after discussion with an appropriate Clinican to decide on the best course of action. We will continue to use this approach to ensure we keep our patients and staff safe. We do not want large numbers of patients sitting in the waiting room and potentially passing COVID infections to each other.
The reception area is open (and has been since we had our protective screens installed July 2020).
No patient will ever be denied a face to face appointment should it be needed, equally we have found that many patients are very happy with telephone and e-consultations, as these allow them more flexibility.
